Daviq Rizal adalah dosen bahasa Inggris di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah Keguruan, Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo Semarang. Beliau menjadi Pimred Jurnal Vision: Journal for Language and Foreign Language Learning sejak tahun 2017 sampai sekarang.
Beliau pernah menjadi reviewer soal bahasa Inggris UMPTKIN pada tahun 2021 sampai 2022. Beliau pernah menjadi penulis soal bahasa Inggris UMPTKI dari tahun 2017 hingga tahun 2019. Beliau menjadi ketua journal courner, Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan, UIN Walisongo Semarang pada tahun 2020 hingga sekarang. Beliau menjadi reviewer di beberapa jurnal seperti jurnal LIMAS PGMI, UIN Raden Patah Palembang, Journal of English Education JEE Kolaka Sulawesi Selatan, Jurnal Ta’dib IAIN Batusangkar, Sumatra Barat, Jurnal Research and Innovation in Language Learning, Lembaga Penelitian, Universitas Swadaya Gunung Djati Cirebon. Beliau pernah menjadi staf ahli bahasa Inggris di Pusat Bahasa dan Budaya pada tahun 2011 sampai 2013.
